Nottingham Forest Home Shirt 2022-23
The Nottingham Forest home football shirt for the 2022-23 season takes a different take on the usual red colour and design. For their return to the Premier League, they opt for a blank red front of shirt, with the details being the features on the side panels and sleeves.
Inspiration is taken for the graphical pattern on the sleeves and panels from the historic Nottingham landmark, Trent Bridge. Connecting the sporting district with the rest of the city. It allows the shirt to take on a two tone style, with white only taking the place of badges and logos.
A rounded style crew neck collar also entails the outline similar to the sleeves. But dons a darker shape closer to the neck as an interesting combination. The shirt also uses the acronym “COYR”, which graces the upper back.
The home Nottingham Forest football shirt is complimented with white shorts with the same red graphical band at the bottom of each leg. Accompanied by red plain socks, which also adopt a darker red colouring at the top. Forest’s team emblem, is positioned top left on the chest, adjacent to the Macron emblem.
Nottingham F Football Shirt - Sponsorship
Italian manufacturer Macron continue their deal with Nottingham Forest. Their partnership began in 2018, with a further extension agreed in 2020. The Macron logo features on this years shirt in white, in both the chest and sleeve positions.
With the clubs deal with BOXT coming to an end, following the conclusion of the 2021-2022 season, the club are still securing a front of shirt sponsor. This is the case at the time of this review, but they have started the season with a blank central part of the shirt from a sponsorship standpoint.
Comparing the Nottingham Forest Home Football Shirts
With no sponsorship it looks fresh to have a clean looking shirt, something you rarely see in this world of sponsorship. Which actually gives a further interest to the return to the Premier League after 23 seasons.
Last season showed a subtle pattern behind the main shirt colour. Using white in applications to work together with the red. It will be intriguing how the fans enjoy a shirt without a central sponsor, which I am sure for some will be a welcome approach.
